Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Two-day long Bangladesh Denim Expo concluded on Thursday with a call to create a one-stop sourcing platform of the entire denim value chain for attracting global buyers.
The Bangladesh Denim Expo, a non-profit initiative, organized its third edition from November 11-13 to attract global buyers featuring eco-sustainable denim development.
The primary purpose of the exposition was to discover everything that’s new in denim. The surplus fund from the expo will be donated to raise fund for establishing a Denim University in Bangladesh.
Nearly 40 exclusive denim and jeans related manufacturers and enterprises from the USA, Spain, Japan, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, China, Singapore, Belgium and Bangladesh took part in the exposition.
A good number of entrepreneurs, businessmen, fashion professionals and stakeholders from Europe and the United States also attended the expo, exploring especially the business-to-business (B2B) opportunities.
Bangladesh Denim Expo will showcase their next exhibition on April 25-26 next year at the same venue in the capital Dhaka, organizers announced.
