Bangladesh elected vice-president of AIBD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Bangladesh has been elected vice-president of Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development for two years.
Bangladesh has been elected vice-president in the 38th annual general meeting and 11th general conference of AIBD in Katmandu on Wednesday, an official statement said.
The Nepalese Prime Minister, Baburam Bhattarai, inaugurated the three-day conference as the chief guest.
Mostafizur Rahman, deputy regional director of Bangladesh Radio, was awarded AIBD Radio Award 2012 for the radio program ‘Development of Green Technology and Sustainable Fuel’.
Pakistan was elected chairman of executive board of AIBD.
