Kathmandu, Nepal (BBN)-In a bid to strengthen the business relations between the Nepal and Bangladesh, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu is organising Bangladesh Expo 2016 here from January 21 to 25.
Altogether 70 business houses of Bangladesh related to the production of construction materials, home appliances, ceramics, plastic products, cosmetics, readymade garments, textiles, pharmaceuticals, footwear, electronics, agriculture products, agro machineries, chemical fertilisers, IT solutions, among others, will participate in the expo, reports The Himalayan Times.
The Bangladesh Expo is scheduled to be inaugurated by Commerce Minister Deepak Bohara.
In the press-briefing programme organised by the Embassy of Bangladesh here today, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Mashfee Binte Shams informed that along with the expo, the embassy will also organise ‘Nepal-Bangladesh Business Forum’ from January 22 to 23 in the Capital to discuss various pertinent issues of Nepal-Bangladesh economic ties.
During the event, private sector leaders, members of business associations will brainstorm on the unexplored opportunities for enhancement of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
