Bangladesh foreign minister to visit India from Sept 18

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali will go to India on a four-day visit from September 18 to attend the 3rd Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting.
He will lead the Bangladesh delegation to the JCC meeting scheduled to be held on September 20, said a press relese of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

The Bangladesh minister initiated the visit at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, the statement added.
During the JCC meeting, various issues of bilateral importance would be discussed.
In the sideline of the meeting, the foreign minister will also pay courtesy calls on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and meet other Indian dignitaries.
