Bangladesh govt borrows BDT 5.50bn issuing T-bond

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh government borrowed BDT 5.50 billion issuing its treasury bonds (T-bonds) Tuesday to finance budget deficit partly, officials said.
A total of 52 bids amounting BDT 16.87 billion were offered against pre-targeted amount of BDT 5.50 billion.
Of those, 19 bids amounting BDT 5.50 billion were accepted.
The coupon rate of the accepted bid was 7.8000 percent per annum.
