Bangladesh govt not to borrow from banks in March

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh government has decided not to borrow money from banking system using its treasury bills and bonds in March.
“We have already conveyed the government’s decision to the all commercial banks,” a senior official of Bangladesh Bank (BB) told the BBN in Dhaka on Tuesday.
He also said the government has taken the decision following its account surplus balance amounting to BDT 80 billion.
