Bangladesh municipality polls on December 30

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The municipality elections across Bangladesh will be held on December 30, the chief election official announced Tuesday afternoon.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad announced the schedule of the polls during a press briefing at his office in Agargaon of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
The last date of submission the nomination papers is December 3.
The nomination papers will be scrutinised on December 5 and 6 while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is December 13, the CEC added.
