Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh has been closely following current development in Libya, a foreign ministry statement said on Tuesday.
“Bangladesh is concerned at the onset of violence and hopes that all concerned will exercise restraint and bring about a peaceful resolution of the present crisis. We look forward and to an early return of normalcy in Libya. Our Embassy is in touch with the Bangladeshi expatriates throughout Libya,” it said.
The safety of Bangladesh nationals is of prime interest to the government of Bangladesh. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is exploring all options to ensure safety and security of all Bangladesh nationals in Libya.
