Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh has been closely observing the present political developments in Egypt, a foreign ministry handout said in Dhaka on Tuesday.
“Bangladesh believes that all concerned will be able to bring about a peaceful resolution reflecting the aspirations of the Egyptian people,” the official statement added.
Bangladesh and Egypt enjoy excellent bilateral relations and Bangladesh values the important role Egypt has traditionally played in the international arena, the statement said, adding that Bangladesh looks towards an early return to normalcy in Egypt and its role as a global leader.
