The hosts scored 23 without any lose in 14.2 overs at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Imrul Kayes and Tamim Iqbal are now at the crease in the session 1 play of day 1.
Prior to beginning of the match, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.
The Test match began at 10:00am (BST).
Beginning from today, the match will continue till May 2.
Pakistan have an unassailable 7-0 record over Bangladesh in Test matches, but all of that has come under severe threat after the outcome of the ODI series and the one-off T20.
