Bangladesh parliament passes budget

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Jatiya Sangsad of Bangladesh Sunday passed the national budget for the 2014-15 fiscal year keeping the scope for whitening black money.

The budget outlines a gross expenditure of Tk 2,50,506 crore.

The House passed the budget in presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The main opposition Jatiya Party (Ershad) also present during the JS session that started on June 3.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith had placed the budget in the House on June 5.
