Bangladesh ranked 14th in TI corruption index

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Bangladesh divulged to more corruption dropping two notches to rank 14th among the worst corruption countries across the world, said Transparency International Perceptions Report 2014.

The finding was revealed by the TI Bangladesh (TIB) at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka Wednesday.
Bangladesh had ranked 16th in the index from bottom last year.

Bangladesh stood 145th among 175 countries.


Somalia is the most corrupted country while Denmark is the lowest in corruption ranking, the index added.
In South Asia, Afghanistan is the most corrupted country while Bhutan is least corrupted.
