Bangladesh selects 12 NRBs as CIPs

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The government has selected 12 non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) as commercially important persons (CIPs) for 2011 for their significant contribution to the country's economy, an official announcement said on Monday.

The selected persons are: Mohammad Abdur Rahim, Dr MG Moula Miah and Kaiser Ahmed who live in the United Kingdom. MN Alam, Mohammad Ali and Mir Selimuddin live in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Quazi Sarwar Habib resides in Japan; Nazim Abedin Chowdhury in the United States; M Liaqat Ali in Qatar; Mohammad Golam Kabir Bhuiyan and Mohammad Hedayetullah in Oman; and Kazi Shah Alam in Sweden.
