Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh government is sending humanitarian assistance including medical teams and medicine to Nepal in the wake of the devastation caused in Nepal by a major earthquake on Saturday.
The medical teams would be working with the Nepalese Government in assisting the affected people there, a foreign ministry press statement.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has conveyed her deep condolence and sympathy to her Nepalese counterpart on this tragedy.
The government and people of Bangladesh stand firmly beside the government and people of Nepal in this trying time.
