Bangladesh slashes phone call charge to India

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh has slashed the phone call charge to India to BDT 12 per minute introducing the economy code of 012, an official announcement said in Dhaka on Tuesday.

"The new rate will be effective from October 14 when BDT 12 will be charged per minute for calling to India dialing 012 only from the state-run BTCL," the announcement added.

It also said the subscribers would also get the facilities of reduced pulse rate of 15 seconds from the same period.
