Bangladesh stocks go on nine-day vacation

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) are going to a nine-day long vacation including weekly holidays from today (Friday), officials said.

Both the bourses – DSE and CSE – will remain closed from July 27 to August 2, 2014 (nine days) for Eid-ul-Fitr and weekly holidays.

The normal trading and official activities of the bourses will resume from August 3, 2014 (Sunday), said a DSE official.

After the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the trading time will be 10:30am to 2:30pm while the office hours from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
