Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh’s stocks see a negative trend in the early hours of trading on Sunday, the first trading session of the current week, market operators said.
DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), dropped by 33.86 points or 0.68 percent to stood at 4922.23 points at 12: 20 pm on the day.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips lost 14.81 points or 0.80 per cent to stood at 1,824 points.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) also lost 8.48 points or 0.72 percent to stand at 1165.87 points.
DSE turnover stands at BDT 959.49 million.
Of the issues traded, 46 advanced, 219 declined and 24 issues remain unchanged.
The port city bourse – the CSE – also saw negative trend in early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index – CSCX –lost 53.55 points to stand at 9,147.10 points, also at 12:33pm.

Of the issues traded till then, 28 gained, 123 declined and 27 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 60.26 million.
