Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend in early hours of trading on Thursday amid modest see-saw.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went up by 7.18 points or 0.16 percent to stand at 4,438.16 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filed at 11:00am.

The DS30 index, comprising blue chips gained 2.26 points or 0.14 percent to reach at 1,615.03 points. DSEX Shariah Index (DSES) advanced 3.01 points or 0.30 percent to stands at 996.29 points.

DSE stands at BDT 292 million when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded till then, 90 advanced, 52 declined and 38 remained unchanged.

The port city bourse – the CSE – also saw positive trend at opening saw with its Selective Category Index — CSCX — gained 13.25 points to stand at 8,506.06 points, also at 11:00am.

Of the issues traded till then, 29 gained, 10 declined and 6 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 11.50 million.
