Bangladesh Taka remains unchanged against US$

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The exchange rate of Bangladesh Taka (BDT) against the US dollar remained unchanged at the end of the day on Sunday in inter-bank foreign exchange (forex) market.
The US currency, in the morning on the first day of the New Year 2017, opened in the range of BDT 78.70 unchanged the level of previous working day.
At the end of the day, it was the same.
The greenback was quoted at BDT 78.70 on Thursday.
“As Sunday is the weekend in the international market so the demand of dollar remained unchanged,” a senior treasury official of a leading commercial bank told the BBN in Dhaka Sunday evening.
