Bangladesh Taka remains unchanged against US$

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The exchange rate of Bangladesh Taka (BDT) against the US dollar remained unchanged during the evening trading Tuesday in inter-bank foreign exchange (forex) market.
The US currency opened in the range of BDT 78.70 unchanged from the level of previous working day.
The rate remained same since Thursday last.
“The exchange rate of the local currency against the US dollar remained same as the import payment obligations decreased,” a senior treasury official of a leading commercial bank told the BBN in Dhaka Tuesday evening.
“The trend may continue in the next couple of days,” he added.
