Bangladesh Taka remains unchanged against US$

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The exchange rate of Bangladesh Taka (BDT) against the US dollar remained unchanged since the last Thursday in the inter-bank foreign exchange (forex) market.
“The exchange rate of the local currency against the greenback remained stable following lower import payment pressure on the economy,” a senior treasury official of a leading commercial bank told the BBN in Dhaka Wednesday evening.
The US currency opened in the range of BDT 78.70 unchanged from last Thursday.
“The trend may continue in the upcoming days,” the treasury official added.
