Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– A high-powered business team left Dhaka on Monday for China to participate in the 7th China-South Asia Business Forum seeking to expand bilateral trade and investment.
First Vice-President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and also Vice-President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jasim Uddin is leading the 37-member business delegation of the apex trade body. 
On the other hand, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Asif Ibrahim leads the 32-strong delegation of his chamber.
The Business Forum would be held from June 4-7 in Kunming, Yunan Province of China. 
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), SAARC CCI and the Peoples Government of Yunan Province have jointly organized the event. 
The China-South Asia Business Forum is a regular event being held every year since 2004 for increasing cooperation on trade and investment between China and the South Asian countries.
During the forum there would be a seminar where ministers, ambassadors and businessmen of different countries would deliver their lectures, business leaders said.
