Bangladesh trade delegation leaves for India Tuesday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A seven member delegation of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) leaves Chittagong for India on January 19 to attend the global economic summit of trade and investment opportunities 2010 in Mumbai.

The team headed by senior vice president of the trade body MA Salam will join the 3-day World Trade Centre Association 2010 - Asia Pacific Regional Meeting from January 20-22 jointly organized by World Trade Centre Mumbai and All India Association of Industries (AIAI).

About 400 representatives from 30 countries including the United States, UK, Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, Middle East and Africa will discuss on issues including energy, financial services, bio-technology, food processing technology and infrastructure in the economic summit.

Besides, the CCCI delegation is expected to have business to business meetings with the president of Indian Merchant Chamber, directors of the Mumbai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other businessmen of different countries.
