Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A 100-member Bangladesh youth delegation will visit to India from October 21 to 28.

In association with the department of youth affairs and sports of the Indian government, the Indian High Commission has been organizing the tour which is second in nature, an Indian High Commission press statement said in Dhaka on Thursday.
This initiative is a part of Indian government’s policy to further strengthen people-to-people contacts and exchanges between India and Bangladesh.

Members of the delegation are young men and women drawn from diverse institutions of Bangladesh and include doctors, engineers, management graduates, business people, entrepreneurs, journalists, musicians and students.

The youth delegation will visit Indian capital New Delhi as well as Agra, Bengaluru and Mysore.

They will see prominent cultural and historical sites in India apart from holding interactions in educational, business, information technology and technological institutions of India.

They are also expected to call on Indian President Shri Pranab Mukherjee.

The High Commission has organized a pre-departure interaction with the members of the delegation on October 20 at 4:00 pm at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre at Gulshan-1 in Dhaka.

Indian High Commissioner Shri Pankaj Saran will address the members of the delegation.

Well-known cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and film actress Jaya Ahsan will also be present.
