Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A six-member delegation from International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) left the capital Dhaka on Sunday to pay a 6-day business tour to explore business and investment opportunities in Burma and Thailand.
The delegation will be led by Hafizur Rahman Khan, President, IBFB and Chairman, Runner Group of Companies.
The delegation will call on Ministers for Industries, Commerce and Health of Burma, officially known as Myanmar, at their respective offices in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.
The delegation will have meetings with Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) & other major trade bodies/associations on 13 February 2013 at Rangoon.
This tour of IBFB Delegation aims at fostering friendship and understanding between the business communities of the two friendly neighboring countries i.e. Myanmar and Bangladesh, and promoting cooperation in trade, investment, technology transfer, joint ventures, export and import etc. between both countries.
This delegation would try to give emphasis on business sectors such as automobile & motorcycle, power & energy, civil engineering, medical & health care, consultancy & management services etc.
