Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Seven more listed companies, including three banks, have recommended dividend last week that ended on Thursday ranging between 10 percent and 15 percent, according to separate official disclosures.
Of the 7 companies – three banks are – Exim Bank of Bangladesh, First Security Islami Bank and Ban Asia.
The three insurance companies that also declared dividend are: City General Insurance, Pioneer Insurance Company and Eastland Insurance Company.
One financial institution which recommended dividend is: Bangladesh Finance and Investment.
EXIM BANK: The board of directors of Exim Bank has recommended 15 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the bank disbursed 12 percent cash dividend.
FIRST SECURITY BANK: The board of directors of First Security Islami Bank has recommended 5.0 percent cash and 5.0 stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the bank also disbursed 10 percent stock dividend only for general shareholders except sponsor-directors.
BANK ASIA: The board of directors of Bank Asia has recommended 12 percent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the bank disbursed 15 percent cash and 5.0 percent dividend.
CITY GENERAL INSURANCE: The board of directors of City General Insurance has recommended 10 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the company disbursed 10 percent stock dividend.
PIONEER INSURANCE: The board of directors of Pioneer Insurance has recommended 15 percent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the company also disbursed 15 percent cash and 5.0 percent stock dividend.
EASTLAND INSURANCE: The board of directors of Eastland Insurance has recommended 10 percent cash dividend and 5.0 percent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the company also disbursed 10 percent cash and 10 percent stock dividend.
BANGLADESH FINANCE: The board of directors of Bangladesh Finance has recommended 10 percent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2016.
In 2015, the company also disbursed 10 percent stock dividend.
