Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dragon Sweater of Bangladesh has recommended 5.0 percent cash and 15 percent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30 in 2018, said an official disclosure of the company today.

The board of directors of the company will give the final approval of the dividend during the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on November 12 at 11:00am in Dhaka.

The record date for entitlement of dividend is on September 13 in 2018.

The company has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of BDT 2.25, net asset value (NAV) per share of BDT 21.95 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of BDT 1.23 for the year ended on June 30, 2018 as against BDT 1.32, BDT 13.73 and BDT 0.04 respectively for the same period of the previous year.

In 2017, the company disbursed 15 percent stock dividend.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company on today following its corporate declaration.

Each share of the company, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 2016, closed at BDT 37.80 on Thursday the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The company’s paid-up capital is BDT 1.32 billion and authorised capital is BDT 1.50 billion, while the total number of securities is 132.25 million.

Sponsor-directors own 37.82 percent stake in the company while institutional investors own 30.40 percent and the general public 31.78 percent as on June 30 in 2018, the DSE data shows.
