Bangladesh’s education minister off to London

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid left here for London on Saturday to attend the ‘World Education Forum 2012’.

The four-day forum organized by British Council will begin on January 9 to be attended by about 200 policymakers and experts from 77 countries, officials said.

Mr. Nahid will speak at the special plenary session of the forum on education policy and progress in education sector of Bangladesh.

The education minister is expected to return home on January 10.
