Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Food and Disaster Management Minister Mohammad Abdur Razzaque left the capital Dhaka for China on Wednesday for attending a high level meeting on child rights protection in the Asia-Pacific region.
Representatives from 29 countries are expected to join the meeting scheduled for November 4 -6 this year at the Chinese capital of Beijing, an official statement said. 
National Working Committee on Women and Children Affairs under Chinese State Council, The Ministry of Commerce and All China Women Federation in cooperation with UN Children Fund (UNICEF) are organizing the meeting.
The meeting is expected to focus on three issues for child protection and these include risk reduction for children during disasters, millennium development goals and justice as well as devising new ways for child survival.
