Bangladesh’s heat wave to continue 2 more days

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The mild to moderate heat wave which has been sweeping across Bangladesh including the capital city Dhaka since last few days is likely to continue for two more days, Met officials forecast Saturday.

The prevailing sizzling heat will not subside without rain and there is little chance of rain till May 25, Abdul Rahman, an official of Bangladesh Meteorological Department, told the BBN.

Due to the mild to moderate heat wave blowing across the country, the mercury jumped to 4.5°C temperature high across the country on Saturday, Bazlur Rashid, another Met official, told the BBN.

The Agargaon met office recorded 36.4°C temperature in Dhaka on Saturday, Mr Rashid added.

According to the met office, the Dhaka city dwellers have experienced 35.2° C temperature at 12noon.
