Bangladesh’s planning minister off to India for three-day visit

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A three-member delegation led by Planning Minister Air Vice-Marshal (retd) AK Khandker left Dhaka for New Delhi on Wednesday on a three-day official visit.

The other members of the delegation are Shamsul Alam, Member of General Economics Division of Planning Commission and division chief Fakrul Ahsan.

The minister will hold talks with Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and vice-chairman of Indian planning commission during his visit, according to reports.

The delegation is expected to return home on January 15.
