Bangladesh’s PM to address nation Monday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Monday evening on the first anniversary of the January 5 national elections.
The prime minister is scheduled to appear public around 7:15pm on Monday, an official of the PM’s press wing confirmed.
Bangladesh Television, 12 stations of Bangladesh Betar, private television channels, private commercial radios and community radios will simultaneously air the PM’s address.
Ruling Awami League announced that the party on tomorrow (January 5) will celebrate the first anniversary of the election as “victory day for democracy”.
Meanwhile, BNP-led 20-party alliance vowed that they will hold rally in the capital Dhaka denouncing the January 5 elections.
