Bangladesh’s premier bourse goes on nine-day vacation from Friday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s premier bourse, will remain closed for nine days from Friday, a DSE announcement said on Thursday.

As per the decision of its Board of Directors, trading and official activities of the DSE will remain closed till September 3 on account of weekly holidays, government holidays for Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr and special holiday, the announcement added.

After the holidays, the DSE will resume trading and official activities from September 4 with trading hours from 11:00 am-3:00 pm (continuous session) and office hours from 10:00 am-6:00pm.
