Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Regent Airways, the leading private airline from Bangladesh recently visited Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, USA along with a 3-member team from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). The visit was aimed for type acceptance of the Boeing Next Generation 737 family of aircraft in Bangladesh.
Regent will expand its operations internationally with a fleet of 2x Boeing Next Generation 737-700 aircraft.
The team was in Seattle on 24th March 2013 and spent two days meeting Boeing officials and visiting facilities which included a thorough tour of the Boeing 737 production facility at Renton and a meeting with Boeing and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials at Boeing’s Customer Experience Center.
