Bangladesh’s socks end flat amid volatility

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The country’s stocks ended flat in a volatile trading on Wednesday, market operators said.
The benchmark Dhaka Stock Exchange General Index, DGEN, closed at 4122.41 with a marginal gain of 3.64 points or 0.007 percent.
The All Shares Price Index, DSI, rose 2.02 points or 0.05 per cent to 3429.77. The DSE-20 blue chip index saw fractional losses of 0.25 points to 3429.77. 
The Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Category Index, CSCX, gained 23.38 points to 8025.70.
The DSE turnover stood at BDT 1.74 billion. Out of 267 issues traded, 141 gained, 104 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
The top traded stocks were RN Spinning, Beximco Ltd, United Airways, Unique Hotel and Resorts Ltd, Grameen Scheme Two, AIMS First Mutual Fund, Saiham Cotton and Beximco Pharmaceuticals.
