Bangladesh’s socks fall in low turnover

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The country’s stocks fell on Monday after two days of flat gain.
The benchmark Dhaka Stock Exchange General Index, DGEN, dropped 36.37 points or 0.87 percent to 4127.36. The All Shares Price Index, DSI, was down 26.42 points or 0.74 percent to 3502.15.
On the other hand, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Category Index, CSCX, shed 64.77 points to 8020.90.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1.21 billion, down 16.55 per cent over the previous session. Out of 651 issues traded, 42 gained, 190 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
