Bangladesh’s stock markets remain close for Thursday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will remain closed today (Thursday) as declared a public holiday at all the government, non-government and autonomous organisations across the country for Thursday to mourn the death of President Zillur Rahman.

“For the death of Mr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Hon’ble President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Govt. has declared general holiday today (Thursday). Therefore, the market will remain closed today (Thursday),” said an office disclosure Thursday morning.
