Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading on the Bangladesh’s stock markets will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday) on the occasion of Janmashtami, one of the major religious festivals of the Hindu Community, officials said.
“Official activities at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will remain closed on Thursday due to public holiday on the occasion of Janmashtami,” said a DSE official.
The trading and official activities on both bourses will resume from August 28 (Sunday) after three days, including two days of weekly holiday.
Trading will begin at 10:30am and continue till 2:30pm, while office will open from 9:30am to 5:30pm in every working day.
