Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Bangladesh’s stocks continued its upward trend after witnessing early hour on Tuesday, the third trading session of the week.
Both the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the prime bourse of Bangladesh, and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the port city bourse of the country, opened with a positive note when the market opened at 10:30am.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) advanced 3.34 points while the port city bourse, selective category index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) earned 4.82 points around over 12:30pm.

DHAKA STOCK EXCHANGE:
DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up by 3.34 points or 0.07 per cent to reach at 4,446.97 points, when the report was filed at 1:22pm.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, gained 2.27 points or 0.13 per cent to stand at 1,705.58 points.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) also advanced 1.96 points or 0.18 per cent to reach at 1,079.71 points.
DSE turnover stands at BDT 18.4 billion when the report was filed at 1:22pm.
Of the issues traded till then, 153 advanced, 101 declined and 50 issues remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance was the most traded stocks till then with shares BDT 135 million changing hands followed by BSRM, United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd, Quasem Drycells, Orion Pharma and Summit Power.

CHITTAGONG STOCK EXCHANGE:
The port city bourse – the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also saw positive trend with its Selective Category Index- CSCX– gaining 4.82 points to stand at 8, 310.67 points, also at 1:18pm.
Of the issues traded till then, 104 gained, 70 declined 41 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 126 million.
