Bangladesh’s stocks down at opening

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw downward trend in early hours of trading on Sunday amid choppy trading.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went down by 5.39 points or 0.11 percent to reach at 4,836.32 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filed at 11am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips lost 1.64 points or 0.09 percent to reach at 1,810.70 points. The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) advanced 1.23 points or 0.10 percent to stand at 1,151.21 points.  
DSE turnover stands at BDT 322.36 million when the report was filed at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 90 advanced, 106 declined and 31 issues remain unchanged.
Beximco Limited was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 26.35 million changing hands till then followed by IFAD Autos, National Feed, CVO Petrochemical and BSCCL.
The port city bourse – the CSE also saw negative trend in early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index -- CSCX – lost 10.96 points to stand at 8,968.19 points, also at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 42 gained, 32 declined and 11 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 40 million.
