Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw mixed trend in early hours of trading on Thursday amid choppy trading.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went down by 3.52 points or 0.07 percent to reach at 4,807.01 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filed at 11am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips lost 0.05 points reach at 1,804.85 points. However, the DSE Shariah Index (DSES) advanced 0.85 points or 0.07 percent to stand at 1,146.27 points.
DSE turnover stands at BDT 349 million when the report was filed at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 86 advanced, 79 declined and 43 issues remain unchanged.
Newly listed IFAD Autos was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 40 million changing hands till then followed by Aamra Technologies, Beximco, United Airways and Agni Systems.
The port city bourse – the CSE also saw negative trend in early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index -- CSCX – lost slightly by 0.74 points to stand at 8,923.39 points, also at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 37 gained, 37 declined and 13 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 39 million.
