Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw positive trend while the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed negative trend amid see-saw in early hours of trading on Thursday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went up by 22.03 points or 0.47 percent to stand at 4,654.49 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filed at 11am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips advanced 11.36 points or 0.64 percent to reach at 1,769.43 points.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 7.69 points or 0.70 percent to stands at 1,094.81 points.  
DSE turnover stands at BDT 730 million when the report was filed at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 148 advanced, 27 declined and 24 issues remain unchanged.
Lafarge Surma Cement was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 65 million changing hands till then followed by BSRM Steels, Mozaffar Hossain Spinning Mills, CVO Petrochemical Refinery and MJL BD.
However, the port city bourse – the CSE saw negative trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index — CSCX – lost 8.60 points to stand at 8,721.75 points, also at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 47 gained, 29 declined and 12 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 33 million.
