Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Bangladesh’s stocks witnessed mixed trend in early hour of trading on Sunday, the first trading sessions of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down by 8.04 points or 0.16 percent to reach at 4,800.35, after first 30 minutes of trade, when the report was filed at 11:00am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, gained 4.05 points or 0.21 percent to stand at 1,892.88.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) advanced 0.97 points or 0.08 percent to stand at 1,196.18.
Turnover on the main bourse stands at BDT 1.29 billion when the report was filed at 11:00am.
Of the issues traded till then, 107 advanced, 115 declined and 32 issues remained unchanged.
Lafarge Surma Cement was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 152 million changing hands followed by SPCL, Olympic Accessories, KPCL and Renata.
The port city bourse – the CSE – however saw positive trend in early hour of trading with its Selective Category Index – CSCX – gained 12.09 points to stand at 8,977.43, also at 11:00am.
Of the issues traded till then, 42 gained, 36 declined and 9 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 84 million.
