Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed positive trend while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw negative trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
 

DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE went up by 17.56 points or 0.38 per cent to stand at 4,604.47 points within first 30 minutes of trading when the report was filled at 11am.
 

DSE turnover stands at BDT 891.56 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 126 advanced, 48 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
 

The port city bourse – the CSE witnessed negative trend at opening amid modest volatility with its Selective Category Index — CSCX lost 7.43 points or 0.07 per cent to stand at 8,865.08 points, also at 11am.
 

Of the issues traded till then, 41 gained, 34 declined and 8 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 83.48 million.
