Bangladesh’s stocks open mix trend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw positive trend while the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed negative trend in early hours of trading on Sunday.

 

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 16.56 points or 0.36 per cent to stand at 4,615.48 points within first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.

 

DSE turnover stands at BDT 555 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 126 advanced, 42 declined and 27 remained unchanged.

 

The port city bourse – the CSE saw negative trend at opening with its Selective Category Index --- CSCX lost 4.86 points or 0.05 per cent to stand at 8,863.85 points, also at 11am.

 

Of the issues traded till then, 43 gained, 36 declined and 6 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 31.14 million.
