Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Monday.
 

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 16.81 points or 0.36 per cent to stand at 4,605.62 points within first 30 minutes of trading when the report was filled at 11am.
 

The DS30 index gained 12.45 points or 0.75 per cent to reach at 1,672.53 points. The DSES also up by 7.74 points or 0.77 per cent to stands at 1,012.02 points.
 

DSE turnover stands at BDT 588 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 101 advanced, 29 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
 

The port city bourse – the CSE also opened positive with its Selective Category Index, CSCX gained 27.99 points or 0.31 per cent to stand at 8,952.66 points, also at 11am.
 

Of the issues traded till then, 23 gained, 26 declined and 17 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 34.21million.
