Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Bangladesh’s stocks saw positive trend in early hour of trading on Monday, the second trading session of the week.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) advanced 12.32 points while the port city bourse, selective catagory indexof the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) earned 1.97 points after 15 minutes of the day’s trading.
DHAKA STOCK EXCHANGE:
DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up by 12.32 points or 0.28 per cent to reach at 4,447.78 points, when the report was filed at 10:45am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, gained 5.16 points or 0.30 per cent to stand at 1,708.94 points.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) also advanced 3.79 points or 0.35 per cent to reach at 1,082.65 points.
DSE turnover stands at BDT 166 million when the report was filed at 10:45am.
Of the issues traded till then, 116 advanced, 30 declined and 28 issues remained unchanged.
CMC Kamal was the most traded stocks till then with shares BDT 23 million changing hands followed by Quasem Drycells, Malek Spinning, BSRM and LankaBangla Finance.
CHITTAGONG STOCK EXCHANGE:
The port city bourse – the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also saw positive trend with its Selective Category Index- CSCX– gaining 1.97 points to stand at 8,322.59 points, also at 10:45am.
Of the issues traded till then, 22 gained, 15 declined 9 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 8.0 million.
