Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend in early hours of trading on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 23.68 points or 0.51 per cent to stand at 4,613.83 points within first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.

DSE turnover stands at BDT 602 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 119 advanced, 51 declined and 28 remained unchanged.

The port city bourse – the CSE also saw positive trend at opening with its Selective Category Index — CSCX gained 18.78 points to stand at 8,851.77 points, also at 11am.

Of the issues traded till then, 39 gained, 25 declined and 13 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 38.67 million.
