Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Bangladesh’s stocks witnessed positive trend with marginal volatility in early hour of trading on Sunday.
Both bourses – the premier bourse Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the port city bourse Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend till the report was filing at 10:45am.
The key index of the DSE advanced 3.48 points, while the Selective Category Index of port city bourse rose 3.60 points within 15 minutes of the day’s trading at 10:45am.

DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up by 3.48 points or 0.07 percent to stand at 4,704.94 points, when the report was filed at 10:45am.
The two other indices also saw positive trend till then. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, advanced 1.23 points or 0.06 percent to reach at 1,768.79 points.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 0.46 points or 0.04 percent to stand at 1,124.05 points.
DSE turnover stands at BDT 334 million when the report was filed at 10:45am, riding on the Titas Gas and Doreen Power.
Of the issues traded till then, 106 advanced, 48 declined and 47 issues remained unchanged.
Titas Gas dominated the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 48 million changing hands till then, followed by Doreen Power BDT 30 million, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation BDT 13 million, GSP Finance BDT 11 million and MJL Bangladesh BDT 10 million.

The port city bourse CSE also saw positive trend till then with its Selective Category Index- CSCX–advancing 3.60 points to stand at 8,790.90 points, also at 10:45am.
Of the issues traded till then, 36 gained, 19 declined and 11 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 22 million.
