Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw upward trend in early hours of trading on Tuesday.
 

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 22.03 points or 0.48 per cent to stand at 4,528.48 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.
DSE turnover value stands at BDT 640 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 127 advanced, 38 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
 

The port city bourse – the CSE also saw upward trend at opening with its Selective Category Index — CSCX gained 18.30 points to stand at 8,690.86 points, also at 11am.
 

Of the issues traded till then, 44 gained, 27 declined and 6 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 29.63 million.
